"From the author of Fight Club" is always going to be hard to live up to, and unfortunately Choke does fall short. Despite a well cast Sam Rockwell (who must have enjoyed his role as a struggling sex addict), the main narrative does nothing to ever really draw you in. There are some nice comic moments, but can't help but think this must have worked far better as a novel.3 stars
