Beautifully understated, and avoiding many caricature cliches of 'quirky indie' movies, this endearing North Carolina drama showcases independent cinema as it should be, and lingers surprisingly long in the memory. Great breakthrough performance from Amy Adams, who earned an Oscar nomination. Indie gem.4 stars
