Valkyrie (2008)

Felt a bit like a particularly glossy BBC drama with added Tom Cruise. Manages to keep the tension bubbling along nicely despite the fact you know what happens (we've all seen Downfall).

English speaking actors as German characters is nothing new, but this does work surprisingly well (unlike Tom Cruise's awkward side parting and eye-patch). Some nice touches throughout.
