A haunting and downbeat affair, which is probably why Never Let Me Go was laregly shunned by audiences and awards alike.

Wonderfully dark post-apocalyptic rag-doll dystopia animation. Tim Burton is on hand to produce, but full credit goes to writer/director Shane Acker whose Oscar nominated short secured funding for this full length feature. Does not pack the emotive punch of DisneyPixar, nor is it as polished, but the set pieces entertain throughout.

The Number 23 (2007)
Is Joel 'Batman & Robin' Schumacher attempting film noir? I don't know, but whatever this film is it doesn't really work.

Spoonfed mystery/crime/thriller for the masses. It is entertaining enough though; I've seen films with far worse pay-offs than this one.

Nines, The (2007)
That this movie contrived to be exactly ninety-nine minutes long tells you a lot about the film. Shame I was only interesting in what was going on for about nine seconds.

Mitch: Forgettable, esoteric drama. The question is, if you could invent three worlds, why invent these three? WHY?!
